Pastor Gary & Gayle began their life journey together on March 22, 1977. Growing up in the same church and going to the same school they were truly “high school sweethearts”. They now share this journey with their 3 daughters, Katrina, Stephanie, and Allison.
On their honeymoon they had what would come to be the earmark experience of their life and ministry. Through a set of unfortunate circumstances they met a young woman that had walked away from the Lord, and on their honeymoon they were able to lead both her and her roommate back to Jesus.
Pastor Gary & Gayle have pursued a life of obedience to the call of God that has led them through many youth ministry positions, and evangelistic ministry, a senior pastorate in Southern Idaho, and then to the current assignment of church planters in Southeast Portland.
Their ministry is marked by a deep sense of committment to entertain the presence of the Holy Spirit, rely on His supernatural enabling, and place ministry opportunities into the hands of the believers.
Pastor Gary & Gayle invite anyone that wants to come “taste and see that the Lord is good!”  You can’t describe what can only be experienced!

Position: Children’s Ministry, Worship Leader, Media Coordinator

Married on June 14, 2014, Ryan and Katrina have been ministering at Bethel before their relationship together started, but continue to bring their gifts and pray for miracles as a powerful husband and wife.

Ryan is a Michigan native, and was called into the ministry shortly after high school. While following The Lord’s calling, Ryan ended up in Oregon as an intern at Bethel. Through prayer and believing God, Ryan has been blessed with a beautiful, talented wife, 2 adorable twin girls, and numerous ministry opportunities (currently including media coordination, children’s ministry, and the inauguration of the preschool at Bethel). All glory to God!

Born in Central Idaho, Katrina has been ministering with her parents since her early high school years, diligently following the calling that God placed on her. After completing her GED through Mt. Hood Community College, she went on to complete her Associate’s degree at MHCC in music theory. She currently minsters through worship at Bethel. We congratulate her on her 2016 graduation, and the Snyder family for the birth of her twin girls!
